 Today I've made an infographic in Piktochart to explain a family tree. This is for children and it is a very stereotypical one.

 Recently I have found a new community in Facebook which I think is very interesting and it is about the role of the families in their children education. In this community, we share books and articles and new methods to make families more participative in the education.

We, as a group, have chosen Facebook as our platform to create an online community since it seems to be the most useful when it comes to connecting and maintaining said community long term. It is the most used social media platform around the world with over 3 billion monthly active users.  

It is also very user friendly, from posting to interacting and searching for preferred topics. Facebook supports media of all types: PDFs, images, videos, external links, ...  

Additionally, Facebook has a wide variety of features and functionalities that meet both personal and professional needs. It provides tools for social interaction, through photos, new posts, events creation... allowing users to stay connected with friends and family. 

From my perspective, i think virtul learning communities are very interesting and useful because nowadays most people have social media, so if that can help to improve their role in education, it is a very good idea to create this type of communities.
